Sue Payton

President, SCI Aerospace, Inc. Previously served as Asst. Secretary of the United States Air Force under two Presidents with responsibility for acquisition/procurement. Former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense with oversight of technology and counter terrorism activities for the United States Department of Defense. Directed an annual budget in excess of $30 billion that included major weapon systems such as unmanned aircraft, fighter aircraft and munitions, information technology, alternative fuels, and intelligence. Previously worked in senior management capacities at Lockheed Martin and Martin Marietta with responsibility for coordinating Department of Defense initiatives in areas such as technology, complex space system issues, intelligence, and operations. Her program achievements have been noted on numerous television shows and dozens of media publications. Graduate of Eastern IL University and earned her Masters Degrees in Systems Acquisition Management and Computer Information Systems from the University of South Carolina and Nova Southeastern University. Member of many government-industry/educational/non-profit organizations including the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Assn. Intelligence Committee.
