Alger "Duke" Chapman (1931 - 2013)

Retired in 2004 as Chairman of ABN Amro Financial Services.  Prior to joining ABN Amro, served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Also served as Chief Executive Officer of Shearson Hamill and later as Co-Chairman of Shearson Loeb Rhodes, and ultimately Vice Chairman of American Express International Bank Co. after American Express acquired Shearson.  Also worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission, and as Vice President of the New York Stock Exchange.  Earned his Bachelors degree from Williams College and a law degree from Columbia University.  Was active on numerous professional, academic, and not for profit boards.
